How Splitray Works
Splitray acts as the wax bite rim in the first appointment. The device uses an upper and lower tray to establish the bite, and a screw to set the vertical dimension. For more information, view our Frequently Asked Questions.

About Splitray
Splitray was created by Dr. Daniel Min, DDS, in collaboration with Paramount Dental Studio. Dr. Min set out to simplify the process of making dentures and reduce the number of appointments. He partnered with Paramount to to create a tray that could be used quickly and easily, with incredible results.
Splitray Streamlines Your Workflow
Dr. Daniel Min, DDS
Dr. Min graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Min was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army and served four years. He continues in the Army Reserves.
After active duty, Dr. Min earned a Master of Science (MS) in prosthodontics in a three-year graduate specialty program in dental implantology and prosthetics at Columbia University, where he also served as a part-time clinical professor.
Dr. Min is committed to professional growth. His membership in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Academy of Prosthodontics keeps him up to date with the latest in surgical implantology and advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Yes! Splitray allows you to gather all necessary information to fabricate a final denture in the patient's first appointment. In some cases, a try-in may be used if a patient has an irregular bite.

Splitray replaces the wax bite rim and try-in steps by using trays and a screw to establish the bite. Please see our chairside instruction manual here.

Order a Splitray before your patient's first appointment and follow our instruction manual here. You can send cases digitally by extraorally scanning the Splitray and upper and lower impressions, or you can ship them to the lab.

No. We recommend taking impressions of the upper and lower and scanning those extraorally or shipping them to us directly.
